A method and a block for constructing a reinforced earth wall are provided to reduce installation intervals of reinforcements in a vertical direction of a block, thereby reducing the length of the block. A front end portion of a band-type fiber reinforcement(20) is inserted into a reinforcement groove formed in lower blocks(10a,10b). A rear end portion of the band-type fiber reinforcement(20) is provided on a reinforced soil bank in parallel and buried in the reinforced bank. Upper blocks(10c,10d) are stacked on the lower blocks(10a,10b) while overlapping with the lower blocks(10a,10b), thereby forming a block unit(100). A plurality of block units(100a,100b,100c,100d) are stacked on each other while crossing each other, thereby forming the surface of a reinforced earth wall. |
