A non-contact electric power supply system is provided to maximize power supply efficiency by maintaining and minimizing a constant size of an air gap in response to the change of a road surface and the high-frequency vibration of a traveling load. An electric power transmission unit(10) is arranged in parallel along a traveling direction of a load(40). An electric power collection unit(20) is positioned apart from the electric power transmission unit and is supported by a bottom surface of the load in order to form an air gap. The electric power collection unit supplies the current induced from the electric power transmission unit to the load. An air gap control unit controls a position of the electric power collection unit in order to maintain a predetermined size of the air gap.
