The invention relates to the vacuum-arc devices and can be used in the process of complex surface treatment of articles. A plant for complex surface treatment of articles in vacuum comprises a work chamber with an article holder, an emission chamber with a consumable electrode having common with the work chamber wall with openings. Also the plant contains the main power supply and the additional one. According to the invention the consumable electrode is installed in the work chamber, it is made with possibility of connection to the negative pole of the main power supply. And the positive pole of the additional power supply is made with possibility of connection to the consumable electrode and to the additional one. The invention allows in the single technological cycle to heat the article being treated to the work temperature, to ion-clean the article surface, to perform the chemical-thermal treatment of the tool surface and to apply thereon functional coating.
