The invention relates to the machine building and tool production. A device for wheel dressing contains a fixed tooth rim and a drive gear, which is engaged with it and mounted in the housing. In the latter a dressing tool is located with possibility of radial displacement. Between the dressing tool and the mechanism of its displacement a ball is placed, which is introduced into the guiding hole for dressing tool with possibility of contact with its abutment, which is forced against ball with the aid of the spring. A standard type pivotal micrometrical measuring instrument is mounted on the surface of housing, said instrument by its dipstick contacts with the bracket introduced by its other end into the guiding hole for dressing tool with a support in the ball. Technical result: simplification of access to the mechanism of adjustment of dressing tool with simplification of the design of device due to the removal of the bracket of replaceable wheels.
