<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for dry recovery of a paint mist, improving the maintainability of a coating booth. <P>SOLUTION: Powder is supplied to vibrating conveyors 6, 16 exciting and fluidizing a granular material and powder and conveying them in a predetermined direction, and paint mist is brought into contact with the flowing powder on the vibrating conveyors to allow the flowing powder to catch the paint mist. The powder sticks to the paint mist to form paint sludge with a larger grain diameter than the powder, and a mixture of the paint sludge and excess powder not sticking to the paint mist is allowed to pass on a sieve 18 that forms a part of the vibrating conveyor, to eliminate the excess powder from the vibrating conveyor while recovering paint sludge left on the vibrating conveyor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
