PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent copying of a document containing anti-copy tint blocks by a copying machine effectively. SOLUTION: An image processing device detects the anti-copy tint blocks based on information for detecting anti-copy tint blocks from an input image data. If no anti-copy tint block is detected, base area is analyzed. If unregistered tint block is detected, information for detecting the tint block is stored by a storage means.
