PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler compound for a boiler plant which is a sodium salt type phosphate-based boiler compound used in a boiler plant having a superheater and a steam turbine, can be used free from problems of a liquid boiler compound using trisodium phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, and sodium hydroxide, namely, precipitation of solid matter and freezing at low temperature, and is excellent in handling characteristics and low in cost of chemical dosing equipment. SOLUTION: The boiler compound for a boiler plant contains sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium hydroxide, and is prepared by dissolving the sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium hydroxide in water at a weight ratio of 1:0.05-1:2.
