The reflector has two electrodes (E) and a spark discharge section (F), where the reflector is built from a corrosion resistant, non-metallic material, and has a ellipsoid or paraboloid form. The section is arranged adjacent to a primary focus of the reflector, and a distance of the section from the primary focus amounts between 1 millimeter and 10 millimeters, where the distance is adjustable by a user. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a reflector receptacle for a shock wave generator (2) a therapy head with a reflector (3) a field support device comprising magnets.
