PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for automatically installing applications for respective apparatuses which cooperate with each other. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: a receiving means for receiving an application including a first application related to the information processing apparatus, a second application related to an external device other than the information processing apparatus and attribute information; an installation means for executing processing concerned with installation on the basis of the application received by the receiving means; and an acquisition means for acquiring information for specifying the external device related to the second application from the attribute information included in the application. The installation means installs the first application included in the application in the information processing apparatus and transmits the second application included in the application to the external device specified by the information acquired by the acquisition means.
