PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development processor where quick development processing and ordinary development processing are realized with a simple constitution, and further, even in the quick development processing, secure carrying and development processing for a photosensitive material are made possible. SOLUTION: In the development processor 4, for subjecting an exposed photosensitive material P to development processing, provided with: a plurality of development processing tanks each storing a processing liquid; and each carrying mechanism mounted on the plurality of development processing tanks and carrying the photosensitive material P, the upper part of a stabilizing liquid face in the adjoining two washing tanks 53a, 53b is composed with a horizontal carrying unit 7 provided with: each horizontal carrying mechanism of carrying the photosensitive material P to an almost horizontal direction; and each horizontal washer 80 of applying a stabilizing liquid to the photosensitive material P so as to be attachable/detachable to the washing tanks 53a, 53b. Also, each horizontal washer 80 is provided at the washing tanks 53a, 53b, respectively, and further, the space between the horizontal washers 80 includes intermediate roller parts 73, 74.
