<p>When a server is added to deal with increased load, a resource coordinator manager (20a) automatically sets a LAN and a SAN and an ASCC satellite (117a) starts a user application by executing a startup script. When a server is returned to a server pool to deal with decreased load, the ASCC satellite (117a) shuts down a user application by executing a shutdown script and the resource coordinator manager (20a) automatically cancels the setting of the LAN and the SAN.</p>
