摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece positioning device which avoids upsizing of the overall body thereof by forming a through hole in a fastening tool in an axial direction, and by inserting into the through hole a detecting pin for detecting a state of workpiece being seated on a workpiece seating surface. SOLUTION: In the workpiece positioning device, a positioning pin 5 has its fixing flange portion 13 on its proximal side fixed to a distal end of a post portion 3 by means of four bolts 7 each having a hexagonal hole. Then one of the bolts 7 having the hexagonal hole has the through hole 7b penetrated therein in the axial direction, in which a shaft narrow-diameter portion 19b of the detecting pin 19 is inserted. In the detecting pin 19, the shaft narrow-diameter portion 19b and a shaft large-diameter portion 19c which are located on a rear end of the detecting pin 19 move in a detecting pin insertion hole 21 formed in the post portion 3, and a dog portion 19d arranged on a more rear end is detected by a proximity sensor 27. Then while a pin portion 9 of the positioning pin 5 is inserted into the positioning hole Wa formed in the workpiece W that is kept seated on the workpiece seating surface 11a, the detecting pin 19 is pressed by the workpiece W and moved downward.
