An apparatus for driving a display panel is provided to reduce image streaking and border effects between electrode blocks by crossing X-connectors and Y-connectors. A display panel includes X-electrodes and Y-electrodes which are alternatively arranged to display an image. X-connectors(X1 to X5) are disposed on one side of the panel to divide the X-electrodes into plural X-electrode blocks. The X-connectors serve as a connection terminal for supplying a power to each of X-electrode blocks. Y-connectors(Y1 to Y5) are disposed on the other side of the panel to divide the Y-electrodes into plural Y-electrode blocks. The Y-connectors serve as a connection terminal for supplying a power to each of Y-electrode blocks.
