PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy manufacture of an inexpensive heat sink by forming heat radiating openings in a plate material to form a sufficiently many number of edges and to increase a heat radiating performance, and by employing a simple arrangement eliminating the need for many steps in the manufacture. SOLUTION: A plate material 2 having a plurality of heat radiating openings 3 provided therein is bent into a three-dimensional structure 7 of an elongated three-dimensional shape having a pair of opposing side walls 6 to form a fin member 1.
