PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust limiter torque simply and exhibit a torque limiter function always stably. SOLUTION: An input shaft 7 and an output shaft 14 are supported on a fixed member 11. A planetary gear type reduction gear at at least one step provided with a sun gear 8, a planetary gear 34 meshing with the sun gear 8, an internal gear 22 meshing with the planetary gear 34, and a carrier 30 supporting the planetary gear 34, and a torque limiter are constituted between the input shaft 7 and the output shaft 14. The torque limiter has such a configuration that presses friction members 26, 28 against the internal gear 22 in the axial direction and holds the internal gear 22 on a fixed member 11 side by friction force among the friction members 26, 28 and the internal gear 22 pressed by them so as to slip and rotate. The torque limiter is provided with a spring force adjusting means for adjusting pressing force of a pressing means for pressing the friction members 26, 28 against the internal gear 22 by spring force.
