<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird injury preventing device that is easy in installation, and can efficiently prevent a bird injury such as rest building by birds. <P>SOLUTION: A steel tower placing material 300 that is arranged with a copper plate 300B at its upper part, and constituted of a band-shaped insulating member 300A is placed on a steel tower member 200 to which the birds come flying, and fixed to the steel tower member at a plurality of places by using bands 400. An induction current flowing in an overhead ground wire 11 is detected by a current transformer 12, rectified by a rectifying diode 14, and charged to an accumulator battery 15. The accumulator battery 15 applies a voltage having a prescribed potential difference with respect to the potential of the steel tower member 200 to the copper plate 300B from voltage application points 300a to c via a rainfall detection part 40, a switch 18, and a device defect detection part 50. When the bird flying to the steel tower member 200 simultaneously touches the steel tower member 200 and the copper plate 300B, a current is made to flow between the copper plate 300B and the steel tower member 200 via the body of the bird, and an electric shock is imparted to the bird. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
