<p>Flame retardant system for polymeric materials comprises 100 parts by weight of a phosphorus compound (phosphate, phosphinate or phosphonate ester or salt) and 30-80 parts by weight of a stabilizer which is an acid binder or a melamine derivative or condensation product. An independent claim is also included for a flame-retarded polymeric composition comprising a flame retardant system as above.</p> |
