PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which can eliminate any unwashed part and a reduction of water amount used for washing by improving capability for washing dishes. SOLUTION: The dish washer is provided with a washing tank 6 containing dishes, a washing nozzle 10 installed inside the washing tank 6, a washing pump 9 that sucks and pressurizes water retained inside the washing tank 6 and injects from an injection tip 10a of the washing nozzle 10, and a controlling section 12 for controlling the number of rotation of the washing pump 9. The controlling section 12 controls the number of rotation by outputting preset low rotation controlling signal and high rotation controlling signal alternately into the washing pump 9 to change the amount of water injected from the washing nozzle 10.
