PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-spraying system which enables water spraying corresponding to a state of an environment or to a state of a plant, and to provide a method for spraying water. SOLUTION: This water-spraying system comprises a remote controller 20 connected to a terminal through a network 2, water sprayers 41 to 44 for spraying water on plants under the control of the remote controller 20, a camera 31A for photographing an image under the control of the remote controller 20, and a camera platform 31B for moving and detecting the gaze direction of the camera 31A under the control of the remote controller 20. The remote controller 20 memorizes a conversion table showing the correspondence of the gaze direction to each water sprayer, sends the image photographed with the camera 31A to a terminal, when receiving a command for starting the photographing from the terminal, controls the tall stand 31B to move the camera 31A, when receiving a command for moving the camera 31A, and selects a sprayer corresponding to a gaze direction from the tall stand 31B from the conversion table and controls the water sprayer to spray the water on plants, when receiving a command for spraying water.
