<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation system, for simulating operation of an image forming device with high identification accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In each image forming device A-D, a monitoring and analysis module 702 stores time-series data related to an actual control output value between printer control firmware 514 and a printer part P and an input value according to a control result are stored in an HDD unit 512. A PC accesses, for example, the image forming device D and collects time-series data stored in its HDD unit 512. An approximation equation for approximating the collected time-series data is determined, and this equation is incorporated in an image forming device simulator 701 of the PC. In the PC, the printer control firmware 514 is executed, and control simulation using the image forming device simulator 701 is performed under the control thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
