<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which can be simply manufactured while reducing a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable 1 is constituted so that terminal parts 15, 16 are mounted on end parts of a cable main body 2 in which an optical fiber 3 is covered with a covering material, wherein the terminal parts have transparent cover members 17, 18 having a refractive index substantially equal to that of the optical fiber, and the cover member of at least one side terminal part and the optical fiber are fused and integrated while being in proximity or contacting to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
