A brushless DC motor is provided to improve efficiency of a motor by making an induced voltage caused in a coil of a rotor during the operation of a motor close to a sine wave. A stator(10) has a hollow inside. A rotor(20) is installed to rotate in the hollow of the stator. A number of magnets(30) are buried along the circumference in the rotor, and both adjacent ends are protruded along the outer circumference of the rotor. A horizontal part formed concavely in the inside of the outer circumference of the rotor is prepared between both ends. The stator includes a slot with a coil and a teeth part(11) partitioning the slots. The region of both ends has a center angle with the center of the rotor, and the center angle is below 360 degrees/(number of teeth parts)/2.
