A sliding device for a portable terminal includes a sliding module capable of sliding a sliding housing in multiple steps. The portable terminal has a body housing (10), a sliding housing (11) that slides on the body housing (10) while facing the body housing (10), and a sliding device for enabling the sliding housing (11) to slide on the body housing (10). The sliding device includes a base member (20) provided with a sliding movement member (21), a sliding member (30) assembled with the base member (20) so as to slide along a length of the base member (20) semi-automatically, a pair of guide members (40) provided to the sliding member (30) and assembled with the sliding movement member (21) so as to guide the sliding movement of the sliding movement member (21), and a multiple step movement member (50) formed on the guide members (40) and detachably assembled with the sliding movement member (21) for sliding the sliding member (30) in multiple steps. |
