<p>An air conditioner is provided to actively drain water, to prevent air from being introduced before being heat exchanged through a drain water path, and to improve heat-exchanging and air-conditioning efficiency. An air conditioner comprises a housing body(1) formed with an air suction port(11) and an air discharge port(12); a blower(8) embedded in the housing body and formed with a heat-exchanging air path(R) to suck heat-exchanging air into the housing body from the air suction port and to exhaust the air at the air discharge port; a heat exchanger(9) disposed at the heat-exchanging air path; and a drain pan(10) installed at the lower side of the heat exchanger to arrange the heat exchanger. The drain pan has a placing unit(20) arranging the heat exchanger; a primary drain water inlet unit(21) disposed at both sides of the placing unit and at the upstream side of the heat-exchanging air path; a secondary drain water inlet unit(22) disposed at the downstream side of the heat-exchanging air path; and a drain water path(27,28) guiding outflow of the drain water from both sides of the placing unit to one end, that is, the outside of the placing unit and bypassing the drain water about the placing unit to the primary drain water inlet unit.</p> |
