A liquid crystal display device is provided to control viewing angles in the vertical or horizontal direction by additionally forming viewing angle controlling pixels instead of forming any additional liquid crystal display panel. A liquid crystal display device includes viewing angle controlling pixels(20) of which liquid crystal molecules are controlled in alignment to be inclined in the vertical or horizontal direction. The viewing angle controlling pixels have common electrodes(21a,21b) in either horizontal or vertical direction for guaranteeing privacy of displayed information, differently from RGB pixels, which have "<"-shaped common electrodes(11a) for improving visibility in the horizontal direction. |
