LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to control plural gate driving ICs(Integrated Circuits) through minimum control signals and to perform a division driving through the insertion of black data. An LCD panel(210) is divided into plural areas and each area is driven individually. Plural pixels(P10) are arrayed to the LCD panel with plural rows. Plural gate and data lines(232,222) are arrayed on the LCD panel vertically and horizontally and electrically connected with the pixels. A gate driving member is constructed by plural driving circuits and applies scan signals sequentially to the gate lines. A data driving member applies image data or black data to pixels according to the scan signals. A timing control member(240) applies the first gate signal at every frame to the gate driving member by twice so that two scan signals are sequentially outputted with the constant time period. The black data are inserted into the pixel rows as many as the number set by the second gate signal. The black data and the pixel data are alternately applied to the LCD panel by the third gate signal.
