The device has a chamber (2) for receiving gas having a chemical substance to be sampled, and a protection case with a transporting handle. Fibers (5) are movably mounted with respect to fiber supports (4) between a protected position and a sampling position. A thermometer (7) measures the temperature of the gas, and a pressure probe (6) measures the pressure of the gas. A control unit (8) has heating electrical resistance and a compressor and controls the temperature and the pressure in the gas, where the thermometer, the control unit and the probe are situated in the chamber.
