PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add useful information to a reachable range within a specified time and display it. SOLUTION: A reference position and reference time are input (S3 and S4), and a main road network is set according to the contraction scale of map display (S5), then user specification such as use or non-use of an express highway (S6) is input. In one way mode, specified time is input (S8), the reachable range within the specified time is retrieved, a stayable time on the main road within the reachable range is determined, and the stayable time is displayed (S9). In round mode, specified time and arrival time are input (S10), the reachable range within the specified time is retrieved, a stayable time on the main road within the reachable range is determined, and the stayable time is displayed (S11).
