<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out an ingredient having a lipase inhibitory activity and to provide an external preparation for skin effective against dermatopathy caused by lipase using the ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin effective against the dermatopathy e.g. acne vulgaris caused by lipase comprises an extract from a plant belonging to the plants of the genus Hippophae of the family Elaeagnaceae (especially, Hippophae rhamnoides L.) as an active ingredient. Furthermore, one or two or more kinds selected from a humectant, a softener, a cell activator, an anti-inflammatory agent, an antioxidant, a blood circulation promoter and a bleaching agent are formulated to thereby afford an effective preparation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
