<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promoter that efficiently expresses a useful gene in animal cells, and to provide a method for gene expression using the promoter. <P>SOLUTION: A DNA containing a specific sequence or part thereof and having promoter activity in animal cells is provided. A recombinant DNA characterized in that the above DNA and a useful gene are coupled to each other in an expressible state, a vector containing the recombinant DNA, animal cells transduced with the recombinant DNA, animal cells transformed with the vector, an animal having the animal cells, a method for producing a protein by the above animal cells transduced with the recombinant DNA, and a method for expressing the above useful gene are also provided, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
