PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a waste ink-holding means while preventing the ink in the waste ink-holding means from overflowing. SOLUTION: The counted value in a count means which counts the amount of ink held in a waste ink-holding means is referred by preceding the ejection action which makes ink eject compulsorily from an inkjet head. When the counted value referred to is a specified threshold value or more which is set according to the amount of ink to be discharged by the ejection action, the limitation of holding in the waste ink-holding means is informed without executing the ejection action.
