PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-security password authentication system for an information processor, which can enhance a password function, without elongating a password, taking a lot of trouble and requiring management of the password for periodically changing it. SOLUTION: In the password authentication system, a fixed character string 202, an external variable 203 and icon information 204 are input into a password definition section 201. The fixed character string 202 can be defined by a user arbitrarily. The external variable 203 represents a sensor for an information processor, meaning information on whether an information processor, for example, is by AC drive or DC drive, and calendar information that the information processor has. The icon information 204 is for an icon indicating the category of the external variable 203, and can be registered by a user independently.
