<p>The present invention relates to a keyboard for inputting data to a mobile terminal, and more particularly, to a keyboard for a mobile terminal, in which a fifteen-key structure in a 3x5 matrix form is formed by adding three keys to a general twelve (3x4) key structure of a mobile terminal for information and communication, such as a cellular phone, a smart phone or a PDA, the key structure is divided into a consonant unit for inputting consonants of Korean, Japanese or English and a vowel unit for inputting vowels of Korean, Japanese or English, and two left columns are defined as the consonant unit and one right column is defined as the vowel unit, which makes it possible to use the thumbs of the left and right hands simultaneously when inputting data to the mobile terminal, whereby characters can be easily input and the number of keystrokes can be reduced, so that the keyboard can be used fast and conveniently. There is provided a keyboard configured to be used for English as well as Korean at the same time in Korea and for Japanese and English at the same time in Japan, so that an additional keyboard is not required when using each country's own language and English (international common language). In addition, since the keyboard can be applied to German, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish, there is an advantageous effect in that the keyboard can be universally applied to mobile terminals for every country worldwide.</p> |
