<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and the method of a driving device capable of suppressing variation of the control accuracy of a brake. <P>SOLUTION: The control device performs a processing for controlling a play amount between a brake pedal 890 and an actuator 61 in a microcomputer 51 for controlling the driving device which is equipped with an operating lever 20 for giving the braking indication to a vehicle, and the actuator 61 for driving the brake pedal 80 of the vehicle in accordance with the indication by the operating lever 20.
