PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition which can be removed and does not become cloudy even in high temperature high humidity conditions, and to provide an adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: This photopolymerizable adhesive composition comprises the following components (A) to (D): (A) 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic syrup comprising a (meth)acrylic polymer obtained from components (a1) and (a3), and a (meth)acrylic monomer; (a1) 60 to 97 mass% of a monomer represented by formula (1) [R<SP>1</SP>is H or methyl; R<SP>2</SP>is a 2 or 3C alkylene; R<SP>3</SP>is a 1 to 10C alkyl; (n) is an integer of 1 to 10]; (a2) 0 to 37 mass% of an alkyl (meth)acrylate wherein the alkyl group has 1 to 8 carbon atoms; (a3) 3 to 12 mass% of a hydroxy group-containing monomer, (B) 0.01 to 1.0 pts.wt. of a monomer having two or more polymerizable groups, (C) 0.01 to 0.5 pt.wt. of a cross-linking agent, (D) 0.05 to 0.5 pt.wt. of a photopolymerization initiator.
