A method, a system, and a portable terminal for providing a destination arrival alarm by using an RFID reader are provided to inform a user of arrival to a destination bus stop in case that bus stop information read from the RFID tag installed to each bus stop is matched with destination information inputted from the user. An input part(210) receives the destination information from the user. An RFID reading part(220) reads the bus stop information from the RFID tag installed to each bus stop. A determiner(230) determines whether the bus stop information read from the RFID tag is matched with the destination information inputted from the user. An alarm provider(240) issues an alarm for informing the user of the arrival in the case that the read bus stop information is matched with the inputted destination information. |
