A rotating speed detection circuit for a motor is provided to easily control the motor based on a signal transmitted from a micom in which an AC signal generated from a tachogenerator is converted into a square wave through a common emitter circuit. A resistor(R1) is connected to the output of a tachogenerator, and a capacitor(C1) is connected between the resistor and a ground. A transistor(Q1) has a base connected to the resistor, an emitter connected to the ground, and a collector connected to an output. A capacitor(C2) is connected between the base of the transistor and the ground, and a capacitor(C3) is connected between the output and the ground. A resistor(R3) is connected to the collector of the transistor and a voltage, and a resistor(R2) is connected between the base of the transistor and the voltage.
