A refill container (10) for storing and protecting an inner dish (11) having paint (12) contained therein, comprising an installation part (20) and an engaging part (21), wherein the installation part (20) is installed on the inner dish (11) so as to cover an exposed surface (15) allowing the paint (12) to be exposed and further comprises a cover part (24) opposed to and protect the exposed surface (15) in the installed state and a holding part (23) holding, in the installed state, the inner dish (11) in the state of the bottom surface (13) of the inner dish (11) being exposed and the engaging part (21) is engaged with the inner dish (11) in the state of the inner dish (11) installed on the installation part (20) so as to prevent the separation of the inner dish (11) from the installation part (20), whereby the container can be reduced in size and the mountability of the inner dish (11) can be improved.
