PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for capturing mollusks designed to safely use an attractant causing poisoning when humans, pets, etc., ingest with small labor of maintenance control and consumables without emitting putrid odors of the mollusks. SOLUTION: The apparatus for capturing the mollusks is used by making the mollusks ingest the attractant arranged in the apparatus for capturing or exposing the mollusks to a fragrance of the attractant collected in a fragrance storage part 8 so as to deteriorate a risk avoiding ability and make the avoidance of a substance causing a humor secretory reaction fail by paralyzing sense organs of the mollusks or using both in combination. The attractant is used even for paralyzing the sense organs. The mollusks with the paralyzed sense organs fail in avoidance of the substance causing the humor secretory reaction and died from exsiccation or drowned. A supersaturated or granular chloride in an amount of≥10 mass% is used as the substance causing the humor secretory reaction to thereby prevent putrefaction of the mollusks. A ventilating screen 19 for passing only the fragrance is arranged in an opening of an attractant container 5 for preventing the contact of the humans, pets, etc., with the attractant.
