PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device that suppresses the generation of foams when delivering a high viscosity-resin solution, suppresses the generation of a thick inclination, and neither wastes the resin solution when performing coating nor scratches the surface of a core body or the like and a method for manufacturing a tube using the same. SOLUTION: The coating device that paints the resin solution for forming an coating on a cylindrical or columnar core body, and has a rotary means that rotates the core body with setting the central axis of the core body horizontally, an attaching means that attaches the resin solution to the core body by delivering the same thereon, and a moving means that relatively moves a portion to which the resin solution adheres from one end to the other end of the core body in the horizontal direction, and the attaching means is at least provided with a nozzle that delivers the resin solution, a single spindle rotating volume displacement type pump that supplies the resin solution to the nozzle, and a twin spindle screw pump that supplies the resin solution to the volume displacement type pump.
