PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet ejection apparatus capable of spreading out a functional liquid to the whole area of respective picture element areas by a simple constitution.

SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a drawing means for ejecting/depositing the functional liquid onto a plurality of picture element areas 507 on a substrate partitioned by a bank part 507b by a functional liquid droplet ejection head 17 while relatively moving the functional liquid droplet ejection head 17 relative to the substrate W; and an oscillation treatment means 56 facing to the substrate W followed to the relative movement of the functional liquid droplet ejection head 17 and oscillating a liquid surface of the functional liquid deposited on the respective picture element areas 507a by making an atmospheric compression wave act on the substrate W.
