PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor capable of securing shutting-off of a suction passage extending from an external refrigerant circuit in the minimum tilt angle state of a cam plate, capable of reducing manufacturing cost, and capable of easily performing maintenance of the minimum tilt angle position of the cam plate. SOLUTION: A shutting body 28 is movably housed in a housing chamber 27 of a housing 11, and a pressure chamber 85 is sectioned and formed on the back surface of the shutting body 28. A suction passage 32 extending from an external refrigerant circuit 52 is opened on the side opposite to the pressure chamber 85 and on the shutting body 28 of the housing chamber 27. Pressure of the pressure chamber 85 is so changed as to be interlocked with pressure of a control pressure chamber 15, the shutting body 28 is moved, and the opening part of the suction passage 32 is opened or closed. |
