An electric contact is provided to endure a relatively large backout force, provide a large force to a part of a connector, and facilitate insertion and arrangement of a plurality of wires. An electric contact(100) includes a bottom member(110), a pair of sidewalls(120), and a tongue(130). The bottom member includes a first part and a second part and defines a horizontal plane. The pair of sidewalls are extended from the bottom member. The pair of sidewalls define an opening(122) disposed on the second part of the bottom member. The tongue is partially located between the sidewalls and includes a top portion(132) and a bottom portion(134). The tongue is inclined toward the horizontal plane at a predetermined angle. A wire is inserted into the electric contact from the first part of the bottom member, and a post is inserted into the opening. At least a part of the tongue holds at least a part of the post in the electric contact.
