<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intaglio printing ink composition which is completely free from a volatile organic solvent, does not cause offset and gives improved choking resistance and printing quality and a manufacturing process of the intaglio printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The intaglio printing ink composition contains at least an ultraviolet-curable composition, oxidation-polymerizable composition, photo-polymerization initiator, oxidation polymerization catalyst and polymerization inhibitor. The intaglio printing ink composition which is completely free from a volatile organic solvent is obtained by using an alkyd resin manufactured without a solvent for the oxidation-polymerizable composition. The intaglio printed matter is obtained by applying the ink composition on the printing plate (7) on the plate cylinder (6) from the ink application unit (10) of the intaglio printing part of the machine (3) via the inking roller (5), wiping the ink composition on the non-image area with the wiping roller (8), intaglio-printing the paper on the impression cylinder (9), passing the printed paper through the ultraviolet irradiation unit (4) immediately after printed to instantly dry the surface of the ink composition by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
