PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device for automatically monitoring an obstacle existing in a dead angle region of a sight line of a driver. SOLUTION: An alert determining means 33 generates a dead angle region of a sight line of a driver 8, based on a detection result in a sight line direction from a sight line detection means 31. The determining means 33 determines whether or not an obstacle exists within an image taken by a camera for imaging the dead angle region among a plurality of cameras 2-5. If it is determined that the obstacle exists in the dead angle region, the determining means 33 outputs an alert sound, etc., from a loud-speaker 35 to call attention to the driver 8.
