PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustor and a combustion air supply method of a combustor, in which NO<SB>x</SB>performance can be evaluated by air nozzle structure of the combustor. SOLUTION: In the combustor 16 blowing air and fuel to a combustion chamber from an air nozzle, a passage of the air nozzle 5 is provided with a passage expansion part in which a cross-section area of an air passage formed in the air nozzle is expanded, and a passage contraction part in which the cross-section area is contracted toward the downstream of the passage expansion part.
