<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image information from being transmitted using wrong user information or a malicious user from intentionally transmitting image information using user information of the other person in an image reader 300 which comprises a reading section 1 for reading image information from a document image and transmits the image information read by the reading section 1 to a PC 100. <P>SOLUTION: A user information storage section 6 previously stores user information of a user estimated to utilize the image reader 300, an identification section 7 authenticates the user based on a user ID inputted by a user requesting transmission of image information and the user information stored in the user information storage section 6 and when the identification section 7 authenticates the user, a network control section adds the user information to the image information read by the reading section 1 and transmits the user information to the PC 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
