PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs while resolving the problem of heat generation in a driving process. SOLUTION: A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel and an energy recovery circuit that supplies an energy to the plasma display panel and recovers an energy from the plasma display panel. The inductance in an energy supply path for supplying the energy to the plasma display panel is less than the inductance in an energy recovery path for recovering the energy from the plasma display panel.
