Internal combustion engine (1) has fresh air installation (3) and de-gasification installation (5). The de-gasification installation has an oil separator (35) for removing of oil from the blow-by gases. A low pressure opening valve (37) is attached to the crank housing (6) which opens depending upon low pressure in crank housing and makes possible the inflow of fresh air in the crank housing. The fresh air installation supply fresh air extracted from the surroundings (20) of internal combustion engine to combustion chamber (13) of the internal combustion engine. The de-gasification installation exhaust blow-by gas from the crank housing of the internal-combustion engine and also supplies the blow-by gases for the fresh air of the air supply system. An independent claim is also included for the oil filler cap.
