<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage profile data efficiently at a plurality of printers. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processing method of an image processing system connected with a plurality of client computers and on or more color imaging apparatus, a profile list in the color imaging apparatus is checked using profile name specification information in a PDL (page description language) received from the client computer.
